This privacy policy explains how SheetERP POS Invoice handles your data. We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy.

📊 Data We Access

  • ✅ We only read data from the sheet you configure for POS Invoice use
  • ✅ We read/write to your configured saving sheet for transaction storage
  • ✅ We do not access any other spreadsheets in your Google Drive
  • ✅ We do not access your Google Account information beyond email for license verification

🛡️ Data Protection Mechanisms

We implement multiple layers of security to protect your sensitive data:

Access Control & Scope Limitations

  • Minimal Scope Access: Uses only necessary Google Sheets scopes
  • No Cross-Spreadsheet Access: Cannot read data from other spreadsheets
  • License Verification Only: External requests limited to license verification via Google Cloud Functions
  • No External Data Export: All data processing occurs within Google’s secure infrastructure

In-Processing Security

  • Local Processing: All search and invoice operations happen locally within Google Apps Script runtime
  • No Data Persistence: Invoice data is stored in YOUR Google Sheet, not on our servers
  • Encrypted Transmission: All communications use HTTPS and Google’s secure infrastructure
  • License Encryption: License data is encrypted before storage in Document Properties

Storage & Administrative Security

  • Google Properties Service: Settings stored securely using Google’s encrypted Properties Service
  • Sheet-Specific Isolation: Settings are stored per-document, isolated from other spreadsheets
  • No Third-Party Sharing: User data is never shared with external services
  • Payment via PayPal: Payment processing handled entirely by PayPal — we never see your payment details

💾 Data Storage

  • ✅ We do not store any of your spreadsheet data on our servers
  • ✅ Your invoices and transactions are saved in YOUR Google Sheet
  • ✅ We store only license information (document ID, email, status, expiry) on our license server
  • ✅ We do not store usage data or analytics about how you use the add-on
  • ✅ No AI/ML Training: We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models

🔑 License Verification

To verify your license, SheetERP POS Invoice communicates with our license server:

  • What we send: Document ID (spreadsheet identifier) and owner email
  • What we receive: License status (ACTIVE/TRIAL/FREE), expiry date
  • Security: HTTPS encrypted, API key authenticated

🔒 Data Sharing

  • ✅ We do not share your data with any third parties
  • ✅ We do not sell your data to anyone
  • ✅ Your data never leaves Google’s secure infrastructure (except license verification)
  • ✅ Payment processing is handled by PayPal — we never see your payment details

⚙️ User Preferences & Settings

  • Search operators (AND, OR, Separator, Escape) are stored in each spreadsheet’s Document Properties
  • Column configuration (visible, searchable, listable) is stored per-document
  • Invoice settings (saving sheet, print templates) are stored per-document
  • Panel sizes (width/height) are stored per-document
  • You can reset these settings anytime by reconfiguring
